Younger Brother of stanel oil and Delborough hotel CEO, Henry Uzochukwu, Sued for sponsored defamation, harassment & blackmail
A N500 million defamation lawsuit has been filed against Mr. Henry Uzochukwu, an alleged lawyer and the man behind a string of sponsored publications targeting socialite and daughter of billionaire transporter , Ms. Nneji. The lawsuit, now pending before the High Court in Abuja, seeks not only financial compensation but accountability for defamation that played out on social media months ago.
Sources close to the matter reveal that Mr. Henry Uzochukwu launched several attempted character assassination campaigns against Ms. Nneji after she called off their wedding, which was set for November 2024. The breakup reportedly stemmed from emerging allegations about Henry’s homosexuality. In a bid for revenge, he allegedly orchestrated and funded defamatory narratives through two social media personalities theVeryDarkMan and Kemi Olunloyo, both of whom are named co-defendants in the lawsuit.
The defamatory content did not stop there, other damaging articles sponsored by Mr. Uzochukwu against Ms. Nneji circulated across multiple platforms, all of which have been cited as evidence in the case.
Notorious for deceiving women under false pretenses, Mr. Uzochukwu is said to have a pattern of promising marriage, spinning tales and hiding behind a fabricated persona. Mr. Uzochukwu has attempted marriage three times. Ms. Nneji is not his first almost-victim. In 2022, he reportedly attempted to wed the youngest daughter of the CEO of Bolton White Hotel, a wedding that was abruptly cancelled just one week before the date, again amid homosexual allegations and whispers of fraud.
Sources claim Mr. Uzochukwu lives a double life funded by his elder brother, a life built on lies, manipulation, and borrowed luxury. His elder brother who is a business man is fingered to be allegedly behind the start up of his small business, compound logistics. Henry’s image, now unraveling, is being re-examined under the spotlight of public scrutiny and legal judgment.
The legal hearing of the defamatory case is scheduled to take place this April.
